Not every video posted on Internet is real'

IF you missed the big fight in your school last week, it is still not too late to catch it and just watch it online.

Hundreds of video clip featuring student brawls violent gang fights and vicious cat fights are being posted online by young people, an act largely attributed to the need for public acceptance and popularity.

The latest is a three-minute video of three secondary schoolgirls arguing and later punching and slapping each other in a school toilet while others watched.

Another one, involving two teenage boys, shows a fist-fight lasting almost three minutes that ended with one of them bleeding.

Education director-general Datuk Alimuddin Mohd Dom said while fights did occurred, he claimed that not everything portrayed in those videos was real.

"Sometimes, what is posted on YouTube may not be the real thing. It may just be several students acting to get some attention.

"They do it for fun but when the public sees it, they assume it is real."

Alimuddin, referring to the recent case in SMK Oya in Mukah, in which the video of three students beating up a schoolmate was posted on YouTube but later removed, said it was difficult to identify which student posted it.

"The truth is, we cannot pinpoint who uploaded those clips unless they own up.

"It is up to the school authorities to regulate and monitor what is going in schools."

"We need to get back to basic and not allow mobile phones in schools."

Alimuddin said the problem was on teenagers seeking fame.

"They want to be popular. Teachers should educate their students of the consequences of posting such clips online. Discipline teachers also need to monitor these sites.

"They need to put a stop to it before it goes out of hand."

About Concrete mix design test

Concrete is composed principally of aggregates, Portland cement, and water, and many contain other cementitious materials and/or chemical admixtures. It will contain some amount of entrapped air and may also contain purposely entrained air obtained by use of admixture or air-entraining cement.Concrete mix design has a number of different approaches such as ACI(American Concrete Institution)development in U.S.A and the most popular and widely used is the DOE method. It is the British method of concrete mix design and it is being used in the United Kingdom and other parts of the world. This method is based on extensive laboratory and field experiments carried out by the Road Research Laboratory U.K.

Water ratio is define as as the ratio of weight of water to the weight of cement, or the ratio of weight of water to the weight of cement plus added pozzolan. Either of these ratios is used in mix design and considerably controls concrete strength. When concrete is mixed many factor we consider to determine the strength, water ratio and others.Beside that we need know measure a suitable capacity for cement, aggregate and water from DOE method of mix design.

This method is applicable to normal weight concrete made with Portland cement only or taken into account ground granulated blast furnace slag or fly ash. This method does not cover the flowing concrete, pumped concrete or lightweight aggregate concrete.

Inside Iraq:The Untold Stories

The war in Iraq has been showcased as both an example of American decisiveness and the catastrophic result of failed leadership. But beyond the debate, what is the reality of life on the ground? In December of 2003 traveler Mike Shiley felt compelled to find out for himself. Shiley, who is not a professionally trained journalist or filmmaker, managed to strike a deal with a local ABC-TV station to bring back stories about the troops in Iraq. Armed with a digital video camera and a home-made press pass, Mike Shiley chronicled a two month journey inside Iraq, interviewing American and Iraqi soldiers, talking to local citizens, and putting himself in situations of great personal risk. The footage from Shiley's excursions throughout the Sunni Triangle, the city of Baghdad, the northern Kurdish region and the Shiite-controlled south, put into deep personal context the stories we hear about in the news. Rather than push a political point of view, INSIDE IRAQ: THE UNTOLD STORIES lets Shiley's camera roll, catching a multitude of real-life moments that tell it like it is. Guided by his own narration and interspersed with cuts to the studio interview, we are shown Iraq as we've never seen it before, getting a raw look at what it's like to be a soldier and a civilian in Iraq today. No matter how you feel about the war, INSIDE IRAQ: THE UNTOLD STORIES is bound to leave you examining your own beliefs about the U.S. military, the Iraqi people, and our future in the middle east.

The Harry Potter Stories

The story of Harry Potter begins as he is about to celebrate is eleventh birthday. Up until this time, Harry’s birthdays have come and gone like any other day; they have been nothing worth celebrating. You see, Harry has lived in a cupboard under the stairs in his Uncle Vernon’s and Aunt Petunia’s house. He has never received a birthday present worth remembering. His very few possessions have been the hand-me-downs of his cousin Dudley. Harry has never known why the Dursley’s have never treated him well. All he knows is that his mother and father died in a car crash and he came to live with the Dursley’s when he just one year old.

But all things will forever change on Harry’s eleventh birthday. He learns from a letter, given to him by an unknown, very large person name Hagrid, that he is not just a regular person. He learns that like his mother and father, he too is a wizard. Harry’s life changes in an instant. The letter he receives is an acceptance and invitation to study at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.

Upon arriving at Hogwarts, Harry is sorted into the Gryffindor House by the Sorting Hat. At Hogwarts, Harry will learn what it means to be Wizard. He will learn many things about wizardry from his teachers and Head Master, Dumbledore. He will learn that not all people come from wizard families. Some, called Muggles, will also study at Hogwarts. For the first time, he will meet and make friends. Hermione Granger (Muggle born) and Ron Weasley (Wizard ), will help Harry through a most challenging first year at Hogwarts.

Harry’s first year at Hogwarts will be challenging as he comes to learn more about his past and the death of his parents. Not only did Harry learn on his eleventh birthday that he was a wizard, but he also learned that his parents died at the hands of a wizard practicing dark magic:Voledmort. And although, Voldemort attempted to kill Harry, something saved him. Instead of Harry dying, Voldemort lost his powers. Harry is reminded of that fateful night each time he looks in the mirror and sees a lightening bolt scar on his forehead and as others greet him famously wherever he goes.

Harry will experience many life threatening situations during his first year. These situations will arise as he comes to learn more about Voldemort and those that follow him. Every experience Harry, Hermione, and Ron will find themselves in, will bring Harry closer to the one that must not be named, Voldemort.About the comment i think this story is very simple easyly to understand but need more attension at the flashback and history of him. Many moral value from this story we can use it in our life as a student.

INTO THE GATE

I have been finished read this book, overall about this story about the battle of Stalingrad between Nazi Germany and Soviet Union to control of the city of Stalingrad in southern Russia, now Volgograd.Which took place between 17th July 1943 during world war 2.From the story I feel the meaning or message of writer to tell the Nazi Germany are cruel because they try to dominate the Stalingrad from the Russia. From the beginning Nazi Germany try to make revolution in the world by domination all the nearest regions or country. Many strategy have been planned before and after battle of Stalingrad. The results of these operations are often cited as one of the turning points of World War II. The Battle of Stalingrad was the bloodiest battle in human history, with combined casualties estimated to be above 1.5 million. The battle was marked by brutality and disregard for military and civilian casualties by both sides. The German offensive to take Stalingrad, the battle inside the city, and the Soviet counter-offensive which eventually trapped and destroyed the 6th Army and other Axis forces around the city was the second large-scale German defeat of World War II, following the Second Battle of El Alamein. In Soviet and Russian historiography the struggle included ten campaigns, strategic and operational level operations.

From the story we see the effects after and before war,it was bad condition with economy down and the country destroy by anemy. If I am Russian,of course I will sacrifice my life to the country and did not think about the effects.I hope all the Malaysian students understand what the meaning independent and responsibility to the country.I would respect the adults and teenager in this story fightback the Nazi Germany without complete equipment and weapon but at the end they get back the Stalingrad from the germany.
